Biography
Dr Sanicas is a clinical development physician and vaccinologist. His professional experience spans the globe - regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance in Asia-Pacific while working for the national regulatory authority in Singapore, clinical trials in Italy and Southern Europe while working at Novartis Vaccines and medical affairs while working at GlaxoSmithKline. Dr Sanicas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (cum laude), a medical degree (MD) from the University of the Philippines, and postgraduate degrees in Health Economics, Patient Safety and Clinical Risk Management. He finished a Master’s degree (MSc) in Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and an Executive MSc (laurea specialistica) in Vaccinology and Clinical Development (cum laude) from the University of Siena in Italy. He is a member of the European Society for Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH).

Biography
Dr. Matevz Leskovsek has earned his PhD degree from University of Ljubljana in 2014 and has since been specializing in T cell, IL cell and TLR cell modulated immune responses in asthma and their pharmacological suppressive agents with main focus on long term effects of short acting beta2-adrenoceptor agonists. Dr Matevz Leskovsek is working at Breathing Labs, Slovenia where he is running a diverse team of researchers performing and publishing in fields of immunology, neurology, and vaccines. He is also a pioneer scientist in the field of electroporation assisted DNA vaccination which is based on a gene-electrotransfer phenomena that has been shown to enhance DNA vaccine efficacy up to three orders of magnitude and to achieve responses comparable to those achieved with protein vaccines.

Biography
Prof. Dr. Zarema Obradović is an epidemiologist, currently working at the Department of Epidemiology of Institute of Public Health of Canton Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a professor of epidemiology she is working at the Faculty for Health Studies, University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. After completing her studies at the Medical Faculty, University of Sarajevo, she completed the specialization in epidemiology in 1990. She completed the degree Master of medical sciences in 1997, and the degree Doctor of medical sciences in 2001. She is very active in several fields: public health, epidemiology, travel medicine and immunization. She published over 190 articles on different topics and six scientific books. With active participation attended many international congresses and conferences all over the world.

Biography
Dr. De-chu Christopher Tang is the Founder of VaxDome LLC and Vaxin Inc. (Vaxin’s nameplate was changed to Altimmune, Inc. in 2015). He obtained his PhD in Microbiology from Indiana University in 1989. He carried out his postdoctoral work at Baylor College of Medicine, Duke University, and University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He joined the faculty at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 1994; subsequently founded Vaxin Inc. on UAB campus in 1997; and was responsible for Vaxin’s daily operation as the Chief Scientific Officer until 2012. Dr. Tang was one of the pioneers during the development of DNA vaccines, noninvasive skin-patch vaccines, adenovirus-vectored nasal vaccines, adenovirus-vectored poultry vaccines, as well as the protective innate-adaptive immunity duo platform technology. He received the Wallace H. Coulter Award for innovation and entrepreneurship in 2000; and Vaxin Inc. was selected as a Tech Museum Awards Laureate in 2007. Dr. Tang was selected as a Distinguished Overseas Scientist by the South Korea KOFST Brain Pool Program in 2012; subsequently joined Chung-Ang University and International Vaccine Institute (IVI) in Seoul; and was appointed as a Scientist at IVI after the Brain Pool Program Award expired in 2013. He founded VaxDome LLC in Birmingham, Alabama, USA in 2014 and moved the company to Dallas, Texas, USA in 2015.

Ibrahim Shady has done his MBBChs, (Medical Bachelor and Bach. of Surgery) from Mansoura Medical College, Egypt on 1994 with Very honor degree. He holds his Master of Public Health and Community Medicine from Mansoura Medical College on 1999 with Excellent Degree. He was followed by Medical Doctorate in Public Health and Community medicine from Mansoura Medical College, Egypt. He is working as a Public Health Specialist, IHR expert, Manager of Traveller’s Health Clinic in Kuwait Ministry of Health.

Biography
Laura Haynes received her PhD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at UCSD, she became a faculty member at the Trudeau Institute. She is currently a Professor in both the Center on Aging and the Department of Immunology at the University of Connecticut. Her lab is a leader in examining how aging impacts T cell responses, especially in response to infectious diseases such as influenza. She has published over 65 papers and serves on numerous boards and grant review panels.
Research Interest
Aging has dramatic impacts on all aspects of the immune response. Age-related changes result in significantly reduced immune responses, with lower antibody titters and reduced antibody affinity.

Saad Muhmood Hussain Arraki has done his MRCS on 2009 at Ireland. He holds a FICMS degree in (Iraqi Commission for Medical Specialization) 1993. He follows the Master’s degree in M.B.Ch.B (Baghdad) June 1985.He is a Member of International Society for Iraqi Scientists Since 2007. He is a visiting Professor for University of Sultan Zain Abidin, Faculty of Medicine, and Terengganu, Malaysia.

Dr. Stone completed her PhD at the age of 26 years from University Maryland, Baltimore in Bichemistry and Molecular Biology. Her postdoctoral studies were also done at the University of Maryland in the fields of Physiology and Neuorscience. She is the currently the Executive director of Vaccines at Liquidia Technologies, a premier Biotechnology company focused on development of particulate based drug products to provide global health solutions. She has published more than 15 patents and has published many articles in reputed journals. She has a PMP certification and brings a perspective of life cycle managment to product development.

Doaa Saleh, MD, PhD; is Professor of Public Health, Preventive and Community Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, where she teaches epidemiology and public health and leads research in communicable and non-communicable diseases as well as health systems research. She worked closely with the Ministry of Health to develop and update the Influenza Pandemic Preparedness Plan in Egypt. Her research interests include the epidemiological features and the prevention and control of hepatitis C and B, Influenza, Rubella, TB and Cancer

Valery A. Petrenko, Professor in Auburn University; graduated from Moscow State University (1972); received PhD and D.Sc. degrees from the Institute of Organic Chemistry (1976) and Moscow State University (1988), and Ranks of Senior Scientist (1984) and Professor in Bioorganic Chemistry and Molecular Biology (1992) from the Government of the USSR. He served as Senior Scientist (1977-1982), Laboratory Head (1982-1985), Associate Director of Research, Institute Director (1985-1989), Vice President of Research and Professor (1989-1993) in the Association “Vector†(Novosibirsk, Russia). In 1993 he joined the faculty of University of Missouri-Columbia as Visiting and Research Professor, and in 2000—the faculty of Auburn University as Professor. He is recipient (PI) of grants from the ARO, NIH-NCI, Calvert Research, LLC, and AURIC. He is member of National Academy of Inventors Chapter (2013), Auburn University Research Initiative in Cancer (AURIC), National Cancer Institute (NCI) Alliance for Nanotechnology in Cancer (2009) and Phi Zeta Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine. His research interests include monitoring and detection of biological threats, diagnosis of infectious and cancer diseases and tumor targeting.

Dr. Hana Golding is the Chief of the Laboratory of Retroviruses at the Division of Viral Products, Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), FDA. She received her Ph.D. degree from Oregon Health Sciences University. Followed by postdoctoral training at the Experimental Immunology Branch, NCI, NIH. She is a co-manager of the Influenza Research Program in the Division of Viral Products, CBER, FDA. She has authored more than 150 research papers and book chapters on immunology, virology, and infectious diseases. Her research areas include HIV, Influenza, RSV, Smallpox, and Novel Adjuvants (safety and mode of action)

Dr. Peter Burkhard has obtained his PhD from the University of Basel, Switzeralnd. He is a professor at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, USA, in the field of nanobiotechnology. He is also co-Founder and CEO of Alpha-O Peptides AG, Riehen, Switzerland, a company dedicated to the development of nanoparticle vaccines. As a structural biologist he invented the so-called self-assembling protein nanoparticles (SAPN) as a platform for vaccine design.

He is an associate professor attached to department of Clinical Pharmacy, faculty of Pharmacy at MAHSA University.
